Med Surg RN Job in Waterloo, IA

You will work as an RN in the Medical-Surgical unit at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning May 31, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Multiple scheduling options available to suit your preferences
• Every other weekend (EOW) or weekend package option
• Every third weekend (ETW) scheduling option
• Holiday coverage required for Memorial Day or 4th of July

Compensation

You will earn $2,187.90 per week for this assignment.

About the Role

In this Med Surg position, you will provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient recovery and comfort. Your responsibilities will include documentation, patient education, and maintaining a safe care environment. You will work alongside experienced nursing staff in a supportive clinical setting.

You hold a current RN license and bring experience in medical-surgical nursing. You are reliable, compassionate, and comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment.
