Med Surg RN Job in Atlanta, GA

Northside Hospital Atlanta is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Extended Recovery unit. This is a travel nursing position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to expand your clinical experience in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Position Overview

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. The role is based in our Extended Recovery unit, where you will provide direct patient care and support during the recovery phase of treatment.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing or related acute care specialty
• Recovery unit background preferred; strong acute care nursing experience may be considered
• AHA BLS certification required
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day)
• Willingness to work 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Travel assignment candidates only; no local applicants within 50 miles of the facility will be considered

Compensation & Assignment Details

Weekly pay: $1,783. Assignment duration: 89 days. Start date: October 26, 2026.
