Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12 day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend is required and non-negotiable
• No on-call required
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs as required
• 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Experience with telemetry interpretation of dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring on unit required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, peripheral line care and management, isolation precautions and PPE, and oxygen administration required
• Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Parking at no cost
• Block scheduling may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Unit serves adult and geriatric patient populations with common medical conditions including diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias
• 24/7 house supervisor coverage available; leadership accessible during off-shift hours by phone
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and more
