Physical Therapist Job in Medford, WI

Aspirus at Home Medford is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel contract. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with 40 guaranteed hours per week and a weekly pay of $3,092.

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and plan patient care according to Physical Therapy standards of practice
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations with orthopedic, neurological, and functional mobility diagnoses
• Complete documentation to meet regulatory and reimbursement requirements using NetSmart EMR
• Maintain productivity expectations of approximately 4.5 visits per day
• Use laptop for point-of-service documentation, cell phone for GPS and communication

Schedule & Location

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
• One Saturday rotation every 6–8 weeks with a compensatory weekday off
• Occasional travel to central and northern regions; mileage reimbursed at government-approved rate
• No holiday rotation
• May be subject to low census and placed on call with a 2-hour call-back minimum

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Wisconsin state licensure
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification
• NPI number required; applicants without one must begin the application process before start date
• Minimum home health experience and training with adult and geriatric populations
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
