ICU RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Banner Desert Medical Center, located at 1400 S Dobson Rd in Mesa, Arizona. This is a 3x12 night shift position available for 89 days, starting September 21, 2026. You'll earn $2,434 per week.

Core Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for ICU patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal findings to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans based on patient-specific needs and medical requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to establish realistic and measurable patient goals
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise the care plan as needed
• Maintain timely, accurate, and legible documentation of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records
• Provide care based on best available evidence and participate in shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Stroke experience required
• NIHSS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, with experience in specialty area within the past 12 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification
