ICU RN Job in Gilbert, Arizona

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona. This is a full-time role offering three 12-hour night shifts per week for an 88-week assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients, including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and developmental needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and review patient history and physical with patients and families within appropriate timeframes
• Monitor diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care with discharge planning considerations
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver quality care
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Document all assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation activities in patient records
• Participate in education, role development, and orientation of facility personnel
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in quality care delivery

Requirements:

• Current valid RN license in Arizona or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the ICU specialty area
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred

Compensation:

Weekly pay: $2,434
