Physical Therapist

Opportunity:

PT - Outpatient

Job Details:

• Work 4 shifts of 10-hour shifts per week
• Acute care setting
• Conduct Occupational Therapy evaluations and screens
• Develop individualized Plans of Care with functional goals
• Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions and evaluate patient response to treatment, modifying plans as necessary
• Document patient care including progress and continuing need for treatment
• Provide patient and/or family education to support goal achievement
• Complete accurate billing by the end of each shift, meeting reasonable and necessary requirements
• Assist with orientation of new staff as requested
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Must be a graduate of an Occupational Therapy program
• Current OT License through the AZ Board of Occupational Therapy required
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient and acute rehabilitation unit setting experience required
• Recent experience working with adult and geriatric populations required
• Experience serving people with physical disabilities is desirable
• Must have ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment, and ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, crouch, and communicate to provide therapeutic interventions
• Required certifications: BLS and AED through the American Heart Association
• Charting system: Computerized system
