Med Surg RN Job in Nashville, TN

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for a 91-day travel assignment at Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, TN. You will work nights on a 25-bed Medical Surgical unit located on the 3rd Floor, providing direct patient care and clinical support.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday) with flexible weekdays
• Start date: November 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,918.44

Unit Environment

• 25-bed Medical Surgical unit
• Patient ratios: 6:1 on nights
• Unit support includes unit secretary and 2–3 patient care technicians on nights
• Float policy is PRN, primarily within Medical Surgical units

Clinical Responsibilities

• Direct patient assessment and care delivery
• IV and foley catheter placement
• IV pump management and medication dispensing via Pyxis cabinets
• Strong assessment skills required
• BSSR and Hourly Rounding protocols

Equipment and Systems

• Documentation: Meditech system
• Required equipment experience: Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter equipment, and remote telemetry

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• NIH certification required
• CPI preferred
• Black or royal blue scrubs required
