Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:1 on day shifts
• Call required - typically one weekday/call per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• Weekend shifts rotate per contract
• Holiday coverage required - expected to work major holidays that fall within assignment period
• No self-scheduling; block schedules not honored
• Travel pairs not accepted
• Pre-approved time off: one request allowed; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support includes Respiratory Services and Interpretation Services
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
• Required skills include: CABG, CVOR, TAVR, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, Mitral Valve Replacement, MAZE Procedure, Carotid Endarterectomy, Thoracotomy, VATS, and additional cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
