CVOR RN Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit. This is a 182-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026, with a 3x12 day shift schedule paying $2,540.16 weekly.

About the Role

You will care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures in a 1:1 patient ratio during day shifts. Your responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating for CABG, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, IABP management, and other cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries. You may float within the facility and to the main OR as needed, depending on clinical needs and your scope of practice.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience
• Proficiency in CABG, CVOR procedures, heart procedures, IABP, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, and vascular surgery techniques
• Community hospital and trauma level experience preferred
• Full compliance documentation required before start date
• Clinical screening to assess fit for the unit

Schedule Details

You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week. Call schedule typically includes one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5–6 weeks; weekend rotation details will be discussed during your interview. You are required to work any holidays that fall during your assignment period. Maximum 7 days of paid time off per contract, subject to specific holiday restrictions. No self-scheduling is available.
