Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
• Call schedule includes typically one weekday call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
• Weekend rotation schedule will be discussed during interview
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed and to Main OR as needed
• Required to work holidays if they fall during assignment period
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Skills required include: CABG, CVOR, heart procedures, IABP, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, scrub cardiovascular surgery, scrub thoracic surgery, scrub vascular surgery, and various other cardiac and vascular procedures
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Community hospital and trauma level experience preferred
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Clinical screening required to determine clinical fit
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract with specific holiday restrictions
• Orientation hours vary by contract length and are non-billable
• No self-scheduling allowed
