CVOR Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) on a 112-day travel assignment. You will work 3 days per week on a day shift schedule, with your weekend rotation set as Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday.

Role Details:

• Patient ratio of 1:1 with adult and geriatric populations
• Scope includes floating within the facility and to the Main OR as needed
• On-call requirement: typically one weekday per week and one weekend every 5–6 weeks
• No self-scheduling or block schedule options; all time-off requests must be finalized at submission

Clinical Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience; first-time travelers are accepted
• Strong background in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery cases, including CABG, TAVR, valve replacement, and vascular procedures
• Proficiency with scrub roles for cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery
• Experience with IABP and ventricular assist devices (LVAD/RVAD)
• Familiarity with VATS and advanced vascular techniques
• Community hospital, Trauma Level I, and Level II experience preferred
• Epic charting system required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required

Assignment Details:

• Start date: July 27, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,785
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
• Travel pairs are not accepted on this unit

Holiday Work: If one or two major holidays fall within your assignment, you are expected to work them. If three major holidays occur during your stay, you are expected to work two of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
