CVOR RN Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiothoracic Operating Room (CVOR). This is a 56-week travel assignment starting June 15, 2026, on a 3x12 day shift schedule at $2,540.16 weekly.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a cardiothoracic operating room environment, supporting adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures. You will work a 1:1 patient ratio during day shifts and may float within the facility and to the main OR as needed within your scope of practice.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at submission
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience with CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, IABP, and VAD procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Community hospital experience
• Trauma Level I and II experience

Schedule & Expectations

You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week. Weekend rotation will be discussed during your interview. Call requirements include typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5–6 weeks. You must be available to work major holidays if they fall during your assignment period.

Onboarding Requirements

• Clinical screening to determine clinical fit
• Core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• All compliance documents due Tuesday prior to start date
• Full compliance required to begin on time
