CVOR Registered Nurse Job in Augusta, GA

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiothoracic Vascular Operating Room (CVOR). This is a travel assignment running 98 days, beginning June 22, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: CVOR
• Shift: 3x12 days
• Weekly pay: $2,540.16
• Patient ratio: 1:1

Requirements

• Current RN license (Georgia or Compact state)
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Endovascular experience and vascular service line experience mandatory, including EVAR procedures
• Epic charting system preferred; Pyxis medication system in use

Preferred Experience

• CSI and Penumbra equipment familiarity

Schedule and Expectations

• Every other weekend schedule
• Overnight call approximately 2 times per week
• Regular day call approximately once per month (13–15 days per month)
• Approximately 2 weekend call shifts monthly
• May float to Main OR in rare instances
• Must work major holidays falling during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4–12)

Onboarding

• 40 hours orientation required
• OR scrubs provided by facility
• Full compliance needed to start on time; 2-week pushback for non-compliance

You will care for adult to geriatric patient populations in a specialty surgical environment. Your nursing license must be valid and active at time of submission.
