CVOR RN Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiothoracic Operating Room (CVOR). This is a travel assignment with a 140-day duration beginning June 15, 2026. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week at $2,540.16 weekly pay.

Role Overview

You will provide direct perioperative care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery procedures. Your responsibilities include assisting with CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, IABP, and VAD procedures. You will maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during day shifts and may float within the facility to the main OR as needed and within your scope of practice.

Requirements

• Current Georgia or Compact nursing license at time of submission
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Clinical screening to confirm clinical fit

Preferred Qualifications

• Community hospital experience
• Trauma Level I and II experience

Schedule & Availability

You will work a weekend rotation schedule to be discussed at interview. Call requirements include one weekday call approximately every week and one weekend call every 5–6 weeks. You must be available to work major holidays if they fall during your assignment period.

Onboarding

Full compliance is required to start on time. You must complete core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing. All compliance documents are due the Tuesday prior to your start date.
