Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 36 or 48 hours per week on rotating day, evening, and night shifts
• Weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts required per unit need
• Care for patients age 18 and up with intensive symptom management needs at end of life
• Provide general medicine overflow care as needed
• Demonstrate good IV skills and wound care skills
• Manage patients with complex needs and families in crisis
• Utilize astute assessment skills to advocate for patients who may no longer be able to speak for themselves
• Experience with patient-controlled analgesia pumps or CHPN certification highly desired
• Telemetry experience is NOT required
• 2 years of recent palliative or acute med/surg experience required
• NYS RN License required
• BLS from American Heart Association required
