Occupational Therapist Job in Moore, OK

Tide Health Group - Thunder Care and Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in Moore, Oklahoma. You'll work 5x8 day shifts with no weekend requirements, earning $2,551 weekly. Start date: September 14, 2026.

About the Role

You'll provide occupational therapy services in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting, evaluating patients with cognitive and ADL-related physical functioning disorders. Your responsibilities include developing individualized care plans using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice, administering therapeutic interventions, and adjusting treatments based on patient progress.

Your clinical duties encompass:

• Conducting ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and exercises
• Recommending and fitting supportive and assistive devices
• Assessing treatment outcomes and modifying services as needed
• Documenting treatment minutes and progress in the electronic system
• Completing comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory requirements
• Consulting with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participating in patient care conferences and utilization reviews
• Supervising occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students
• Coordinating DME and supplies procurement

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma OT license at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• Skills checklist completion within 1 year of hire
• NBCOT certification and adherence to state practice acts and code of conduct
• 0–1 references required at time of submission

You'll work collaboratively with supervisors and health team members to communicate patient progress, barriers, and treatment adjustments. All work must comply with regulatory and clinical practice standards.
