PCU - Progressive Care Unit

RN - IMCU Tele

Job Details:

• Work in a 24-bed IMCU unit with a 1:4 RN patient ratio and 1:12 PCT ratio
• Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses, and 2 PCTs; Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses, and 2 PCTs
• Required to participate in bedside shift report at each shift change
• Unit huddle occurs at 6:45 AM and 6:45 PM
• MDR Rounds at 10:00 AM or 10:30 AM for day shift
• 4 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) required in a 4-week period
• Alternating holidays required
• Floating area includes IMCU
• Cardiac experience required
• ECG rhythm interpretation preferred
• Experience with chronic ventilator preferred
• Must wear royal blue scrubs
• Work with wireless bedside monitors and Expanse EMR system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must have a positive and coachable personality
