ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units is required
• Scrub color required: Navy Blue
• 2+ years of experience in emergency department required
• Some pediatric experience required
• Travel experience is required
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• EMR experience required: EPIC
• Care for patients across all age groups including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Treat common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Work within a 64-bed unit including 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand)
• Active NY RN license required with NURSYS verification for all RN licenses
