PCU RN Job in Irving, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced RN for a 91-day travel assignment at Medical City Las Colinas in Irving, Texas. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM, caring for progressive care patients with a standard patient ratio of 4:1 (potentially 5:1 when a tech is assigned to your unit).

Position Requirements:

• Active RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of direct PCU nursing experience
• Strong telemetry interpretation skills
• PCU-level care experience required; Med Surg background alone does not meet qualifications
• Experience with critical cardiac drips preferred
• Hematoma management post-sheath removal preferred

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a progressive care setting
• Perform procedures including paracentesis and thoracentesis
• Monitor bedside vital signs machines in each patient room
• Document and communicate using the Meditech electronic medical records system
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain excellent communication and customer service with patients and families

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: October 5, 2026
• Shift: Nights (6:45 PM–7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• Possible float assignments to Med Surg as needed
• Weekly pay: $1,674
