ED RN Job in La Porte, IN

Northwest Health - La Porte is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the Emergency Department. You'll work day shift on a 4x12 schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM with 96 guaranteed hours bi-weekly at $2,281 per week.

Role Overview

You'll deliver patient care in a fast-paced rural emergency setting with a 23-bed unit and a patient ratio of approximately 4 or 5 to 1. This role involves direct patient assessment, treatment, and monitoring in a dynamic environment where you'll collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary team.

Assignment Details

• 13-week contract with a two-week cancellation policy and no penalty
• No on-call requirements
• No block scheduling available
• No requested time off allowed
• Holidays blacked out as needed
• May be required to float to Starke Hospital ED

Requirements

• Current Indiana RN licensure
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• De-escalation training required
• 1–2 years of emergency room experience
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
