PACU RN Job in Greeley, CO

You will work as a registered nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado. Your primary assignment is in the PACU and pre-op areas, with required floating to Loveland or BFC PACU/Pre-op as operational needs dictate.

Schedule and Commitment

• 5x8 day shifts per week
• One 24-hour call shift per month on Saturday or Sunday (0700–0700)
• Two weeknight call shifts per month (1900–0700)
• Holiday rotation per unit policy

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Delegate and supervise licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members as appropriate
• Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
• Participate in shared leadership, education, mentoring, and quality initiatives with facility personnel, patients, and students

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, with specialty area experience within the past 12 months
• Current certification in PALS, ACLS, and BLS

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Professional certification in specialty area

Assignment Details

This is an 87-week travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,691.
