Med Surg RN Job in Zanesville, OH

Genesis Healthcare System is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment on the Respiratory Med-Surg unit in Zanesville, Ohio. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) with every other weekend required and no on-call obligations. Weekly pay is $2,149.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with respiratory and medical-surgical conditions on a 21-bed unit specializing in pulmonary diseases
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry continuously
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
• Float as needed within scope to similar units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience
• Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips (competency test required on Day 1)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR (no training or refreshers provided; Epic competency must be clearly documented in your referral submission)
