Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Rehab

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts available on days (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) and nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Cyclic self-scheduling with weekend requirement of at minimum every 3rd weekend
• Minimum of 2 holidays required
• No on-call or standby requirement
• Patient ratios: 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights
• 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Common patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diagnoses such as stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, brain injury, critical illness, and neurological diseases including MS and Parkinson's
• Nurse aids and patient care techs available on unit at a ratio of 1:10-15
• Charge nurse present on each shift
• Float to Med Surg as needed
• RNs are not required to titrate drips; common drips include antibiotics, anticoagulation, and antiplatelets
• Charting system: EPIC
• Orientation includes classroom training and 2 twelve-hour shifts on the unit
• Required certifications: BLS
• BSN not required
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
• Driver's license required at submittal
