Emergency Department RN Job in Marshall, MI

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced 11-bed Emergency Department at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Michigan. This is a temporary assignment running 91 days, beginning October 5, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week at $2,242 weekly pay.

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver professional nursing care focused on patient comfort and well-being
• Apply critical thinking and independent judgment throughout assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and supervise nursing care teams, including Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and technicians
• Collaborate with your team and other disciplines to coordinate patient care
• Complete timely documentation of patient condition, reactions, and treatment responses; track patient progress
• Work every other weekend with availability for holiday coverage
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements:

• Current Michigan RN license
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
• Charge nurse experience required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) certifications
• Medical Surgical skills checklist current within one year
• TNCC certification preferred
• One supervisory signed reference from employment within the past two years
• Own vehicle required for this assignment
• All requested time off must be noted and verified at time of submission

You will work nights in a structured environment where you manage patient flow, coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, and maintain high standards of documentation and patient safety.
