Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work on a high-acuity, fast-paced 34-bed Stroke Telemetry Unit specializing in acute stroke and complex telemetry patients
• Perform and document frequent neurological assessments including NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in real time
• Ensure compliance with stroke core measures including dysphagia screening, education, and care plans
• Administer medications using BCMA standards with a focus on safety and accuracy
• Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team including providers, therapy, and case management
• Manage admissions, discharges, and patient flow in a high-turnover environment
• Maintain focus on falls prevention, skin integrity, and patient safety
• Work with primary and team nursing models
• Must have ability to read basic rhythm strips prior to arriving at facility
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
