Telemetry RN Job in Rochester, NY

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on the Telemetry unit at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, caring for patients with complex neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome, and other acute neurological diagnoses.

Your Role:

• Monitor and support acute and complex patients using telemetry experience
• Work alongside an interdisciplinary specialty team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures using continuous video EEG technology
• Perform on-call and charge responsibilities as needed per unit needs
• Provide care in a fast-paced environment alongside experienced clinical staff

Schedule & Duration:

• 12-hour shifts with rotating schedule including days, evenings, and nights
• 48 hours per week at regular time
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• 117-day assignment starting September 28, 2026

Compensation:

• $2,489 weekly pay

Requirements:

• Current New York RN license (NY license only)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• NIHSS certification required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
