ED RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for the Adult Emergency Department in Rochester, NY. This is a travel nursing assignment lasting 89 days, with a start date of November 9, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 3x12 rotating (day, evening, and night)
• Weekly pay: $2,522.52
• Schedule includes floating, weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties as needed

About the Role

You will work in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department managing over 100,000 patient visits annually. Your responsibilities include treating a diverse patient population, assisting with boarder patients, and supporting the team across varying acuity levels. The role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly in a high-volume environment.

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• Minimum two years of ED experience
• Previous travel ER experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification
