OR RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment. You will work in a Level 4 operating room supporting a wide range of surgical specialties and advanced procedures.

Role Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
• Support the transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts
• Work with two Da Vinci robotic surgical systems
• Manage on-call, callback, and floating assignments per unit needs
• Work rotating day, evening, and night shifts with weekend and holiday availability

Required Qualifications

• Current New York state RN license
• Two years of operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma center
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Ability to scrub and circulate

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• Telemetry certification
• Level 1 trauma hospital experience
• Specialty case experience including transplants, plastics, reconstructive surgery, and craniotomy
• Strong orthopedic background

Assignment Details

• 12-hour shifts
• 89-day duration
• Start date: October 12, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,444
