ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts available with day shift hours from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM and night shift hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday requirement includes 1 major and 1 minor holiday for both winter and summer holidays
• First to float to telemetry unit with a 1:4 patient ratio
• ICU patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• 24-bed ICU unit
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Charting system: Cerner PowerChart
• Scrub color: Navy
• Must be able to read and interpret cardiac monitor strips independently as no monitor technician is available
• Experience with vasoactive drips required including neosynephrine, levophed, vasopressin, amiodarone, dopamine, and dobutamine
• Must be proficient with ventilator management
• Must have trauma experience and be comfortable performing neuro assessments
• Experience with general medical surgical ICU cases required including trauma, MVC, post-cath, sepsis, and respiratory failure
• Intensivist available in house 24/7
• Respiratory therapy and pharmacy support available 24/7
• 2-shift floor-specific orientation provided upon start
• Trauma Level 2 facility
• Acute care setting
