Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy GI

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM with on-call required for overnights and weekends
• Schedule options of five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week
• Answer patient questions and address their concerns
• Observe and monitor patient vital signs
• Sedate patients before procedures and recover patients after procedures
• Administer necessary medications and IV drips to patients
• Complete all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures
• Clean and sterilize equipment before use
• Provide assistance to physicians throughout procedures
• Perform intake for GI procedures
• Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification required
• Conscious sedation experience required
• Expert IV insertion required
• Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia required
• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy procedure experience required
• New York State RN license required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
