Med Surg RN Job in Waukesha, WI

ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for a 91-day travel assignment on the Medical-Surgical unit. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week with a guaranteed 36 hours of work weekly, starting September 8, 2026. This role offers $2,656 per week.

Role Details

• 12-hour night shifts on a 2-bed Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of 1:6
• Every 3rd weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Possible float to other units and facilities based on census needs
• Work outside of clinical skills only with approval from employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and SimpliFi
• Any scrub color permitted

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 2 or more years of Med/Surg experience in short-term acute care hospital settings
• At least one prior traveler contract preferred
• Epic charting experience within the last 12 months required
• Associate Degree or Certificate in nursing required
• Current BLS certification
• NIHSS certification required
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage change and adapt to shifting patient needs
• Collaborative and social approach to teamwork
