Med Surg RN Job in Green Bay, WI

Bellin Health Green Bay is hiring a Registered Nurse for a 13-week Med Surg contract assignment. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on a float team rotating between observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and transitional care units. The facility will attempt to keep you in 1–2 like units when possible, though floating to other units may occur.

Schedule & Compensation

• 12-hour night shifts
• Guaranteed 36–48 hours per week; overtime paid after 48 hours
• Every weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback requirements
• $2,462.40 per week
• Assignment start: August 31, 2026

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of general Med/Surg experience
• Proficiency with venipuncture and Cardizem
• Experience with ports, Foley/straight catheterization, and stable drips
• Night shift patient ratios: 1:6 (occasionally 1:7)

Required Credentials & Certifications

• Active RN license or Compact license
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification (preferred at submission; must be completed before end of orientation—provided free through facility's Apex Innovations platform)
• Associate Degree or Certificate minimum; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel healthcare experience
• Epic charting experience within the past 2 years

Scrub colors must be standard professional shades; no bright colors or character prints. This is a hands-on nursing role with direct patient care and collaborative teamwork across multiple clinical areas.
