Med Surg RN Job in Green Bay, WI

Bellin Health Green Bay is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week Med Surg contract position. You will work 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with a guaranteed 36–48 hours per week; overtime is paid after 48 hours. Start date is August 31, 2026.

Role Details

• Float team position rotating as needed within Med Surg skillset to observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and/or transitional care units
• Facility will attempt to keep you in 1–2 like units but may float to other units as needed
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Night shift ratio 1:6 (occasionally 1:7)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2+ years of general Med/Surg experience
• Experience with venipuncture, Cardizem, ports, Foley/straight catheterization, and stable drips
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Active RN or Compact license
• NIHSS certification required by end of orientation (preferred at submission)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Epic charting experience within the past 2 years

Work Environment

Scrub colors must avoid bright colors and character prints. You will chart in Epic and work in a collaborative floor environment with defined patient ratios.

Weekly compensation is $2,656. This is a 91-day assignment with no marketing commitments—just a straightforward travel role in Green Bay.
