About this role

Bellin Health Green Bay is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment on a float team serving medical-surgical patients. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three days per week, with guaranteed 36 to 48 hours weekly. Overtime is available beyond 48 hours.

As a float team member, you will rotate as needed within your skillset across observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, orthopedic/neuro, inpatient rehab, and transitional care units. The facility will attempt to keep you in one to two like units when possible. Every other weekend and holiday rotation is required. There are no on-call or callback requirements.

Patient Care Details:

  • Night shift patient ratios: 1:6 patients, occasionally 1:7
  • Required skills: venipuncture, medication administration (Cardizem), port access, Foley and straight catheterization, stable drip management
  • Epic charting experience strongly preferred within the past 2 years

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of general medical-surgical nursing experience
  • Active RN license or Compact license
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association
  • NIHSS certification required prior to end of orientation (preferred at submission)
  • Associate Degree or Certificate in nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
