About this role

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for a long-term care position at Tide Health Group - Oregon Care Center in Oregon, Missouri. This is a temporary assignment running for 91 days, starting July 27, 2026.

Position Details

  • Shift: 5x8 Flex (days)
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • No weekends required unless a holiday falls Monday through Friday, in which case hours may be made up on the weekend
  • Weekly pay: $1,670.40

Your Responsibilities

You will administer rehabilitative treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices. You will assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.

You will provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to cognitive and physical functioning disorders. You will document all required information in the electronic documentation system, maintain patient records according to company policy, and accurately record treatment minutes for services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.

You will participate in required meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings. You will utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions for patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders.

Required Qualifications

  • Active OTA license in Missouri
  • Minimum 1 year of OTA experience required
  • Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience required
  • New graduates accepted provided they have Level II fieldwork experience (not solely Level I observation experience)
  • Adherence to NBCOT/AOTA and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice
