Med Surg RN Job in Stevens Point, WI

St. Michael's–Stevens Point is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 32-bed medical-surgical unit. You will care for patients across orthopedic, general surgery, urology, and ENT specialties in a structured 13-week travel assignment.

Schedule and Pay

• 3x12-hour day shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• $2,506 per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Low census call possible; 2-hour minimum callback

Unit Details

• Day and evening patient ratios of 1:4–5
• Night shift ratios of 1:6–7
• Float requirements to affiliated facilities including Riverview, Plover, and Divine Savior
• Epic electronic health record system

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin or compact RN license
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical and orthopedic nursing experience
• At least one completed travel nursing assignment
• Proficiency with Epic charting
