Join Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert as a Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit. This is a travel nursing assignment offering you the opportunity to provide direct patient care in a dynamic acute care environment.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Banner Gateway Medical Center, 1900 N Higley Rd, Gilbert, AZ
• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Schedule: 3x12 Nights
• Duration: 89 days
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,541

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal findings to physicians and caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed team members
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching; revise plans as appropriate
• Document all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluations accurately and timely in patient records
• Participate in shared leadership, education, role development, and orientation of staff, patients, students, and families
• Precept and mentor staff to support professional growth when appropriate

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Must have worked in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as an RN in the specialty area
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Standard precautions compliance due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
