Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on a 30-bed Medical/Surgical unit on the 3rd floor of the main building
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Day shift includes charge nurse coordinator, RNs, and 2-3 PCTs depending on unit volume
• Night shift includes charge nurse coordinator, RNs, and 1 PCT
• Perform blood transfusions and Foley/NGT insertions
• Experience working with COVID patients, dialysis patients, and geriatrics preferred
• Float to Med Surg 2 Oncology, 3 Medical, 4 Ortho, and 4 Surgical units as needed
• Required certification: BLS
• California RN license required
• EMR system: Meditech
• Equipment used includes bladder scanner, Hoyer lift, glucometers, Christie IV vein finder, portable ECG, Welch Allyn Vital Sign Machines, Alaris IV pumps, SCDs, PCA pumps, and PAPRs
• Dress code: scrubs of any color, no visible piercings, and tattoos must be covered
