ED RN Job in Independence, MO

Join Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This 91-day travel assignment runs from October 19, 2026, with day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) on a 4x12 schedule.

Assignment Details:

• 40+ bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio (3 rooms and 1 hall bed during high volume)
• 48 hours guaranteed per week
• Weekly pay: $2,358
• EMR system: Meditech

Clinical Responsibilities:

• IV starts and phlebotomy
• Cardiac monitoring and interpretation
• Operation of cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO Drills, and Lifepak equipment

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI
• Experience in high-pressure environments strongly preferred
• Previous medical experience (RN, Medic, Technician, or equivalent) preferred
• Strong team player with adaptability and professionalism under pressure

Dress Code:

Gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms. Appropriate colored T-shirts are permitted under a nursing scrub jacket or hospital-approved jacket.
