ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts starting at 7:00 PM
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room experience required
• Travel experience required, no exceptions
• No block scheduling
• 4 weekend days per month unless contract is needed specifically for weekends
• Patient ratio of 4 patients with a mid-shift nurse from noon to midnight
• 12-room/12-bed emergency department with a daily census of 50
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC - no exceptions
• Required skills: blood product administration, CVA management, emergency medications, general emergency department combined adult/pediatric care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs, and triage
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy
• Travelers may float to different units
