ICU RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You'll join the ICU team at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center as a registered nurse, working night shifts on a flexible pool basis. This is a 6-month assignment, starting September 21, 2026.

Shift Details

• 12.5-hour night shifts running 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3 shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation: July 4th, then every other holiday thereafter

Assignment Terms

• 182-day duration
• $2,384 weekly pay
• 24-hour no booking obligation (NBO) waived

As an ICU flex pool RN, you'll provide direct patient care in our intensive care setting, responding to the unit's staffing needs across your scheduled days. You'll work alongside an established team and contribute to the full spectrum of critical care nursing—patient assessment, medication administration, equipment monitoring, and family communication.
