Med Surg RN Job in Charleston, WV

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV. You'll work 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with weekday scheduling and every other weekend required. The facility offers both 36 and 48-hour contract options, with 36 hours guaranteed per week.

Role Details

You'll join a 29-bed Medical Surgical unit caring for adult medical and surgical oncology, palliative care, urology, and telemetry patients. Your patient ratio will be 5–6:1 during nights. You'll manage chemotherapy administration, telemetry monitoring, central line draws, ports, blood administration, PCA pumps, bone marrow aspiration assistance, and Pleurx chest tubes. The unit uses specialized equipment including PCA pumps, CBI, feeding pumps, and bladder scanners. You may float within scope to like units as needed.

Requirements

• Current WV or Compact RN license (pending licenses accepted for submission)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• BLS certification required
• ONCC/ONS (Chemotherapy) certification required
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Chemotherapy administration within 1 year preferred

The facility will consider strong candidates without oncology experience. Skill flexibility and willingness to learn are valued.

What We Offer

Weekly pay is $1,944. The facility is open to accommodating blocked schedule requests and will limit your holiday RTO requests to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays. You'll wear Royal Blue or White scrubs. Assignment start date is November 12, 2026.
