PCU RN Job in Gilbert, AZ

You will provide direct nursing care to patients in our Progressive Care Unit at Banner Gateway Medical Center, located at 1900 N Higley Rd in Gilbert, AZ. This is a 3x12 night shift position with an 89-day duration, starting October 12, 2026. You'll earn $2,559 weekly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, including discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in the patient record
• Participate in shared leadership, education, role development, and orientation of personnel, patients, students, and families
• Precept and mentor staff to support professional growth when appropriate

Requirements: You must hold a current, valid RN license in Arizona or compact RN licensure. BLS certification is required. You need a minimum of one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, with experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area. A Bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred.

Physical demands: You must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. You may be required to lift up to 75 pounds. You will use standard precautions due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
