Job Details:

• Primarily based at NCMC with expected floating to support the Loveland campus or BFC ICU, PCU, and Medical/Surgical units
• Must be proficient in caring for cardiac, neuro, trauma, and general ICU patients
• Must be proficient in caring for PCU and Medical/Surgical level patients
• Must be able to read and monitor telemetry
• Must be willing to accept Medical/Surgical level of care patients due to mixed acuity unit
• Every other weekend and holidays required per unit rotation
• If placed on call, must be able to report within 1 hour
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Review patient history and physical, diagnostics, and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and revise individualized plans of care including discharge planning in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Document assessments, nursing interventions, and patient responses in a legible and timely manner
• Current, valid RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience required with experience in specialty area within the past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
