ICU RN Job in Sterling, CO

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 90-day travel assignment at Sterling Regional Medical Center in Sterling, Colorado. You will work a 3x12 night shift, earning $2,394 weekly.

Role Overview

As an ICU RN, you will deliver comprehensive direct patient care in an intensive care setting. Your responsibilities include assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs while coordinating discharge planning. You will formulate and implement individualized care plans using assessment data and input from patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and coordinate activities of the healthcare team
• Delegate and supervise nursing and support staff as appropriate
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, adjusting plans as needed
• Document all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records
• Participate in unit shared leadership and education initiatives
• Adhere to standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

Requirements

• Current valid RN license in Colorado
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Acute care experience must be from within the past 12 months
• BLS certification required
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks required for patient care
• Adequate hearing, visual acuity, fine motor skills, and eye-hand coordination

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional nursing certification in critical care
