ICU Registered Nurse Job in Pueblo, CO

St. Mary-Corwin Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for its 12-bed ICU in Pueblo, Colorado. This is a night shift position (3x12) offering a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 and the flexibility of self-scheduling and block scheduling options.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 nights with 6–9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 16, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,271

Responsibilities:

• Titrate drips including vasopressors, inotropes, sedatives, analgesics, metabolic, and specialized medications
• Read and interpret telemetry strips using Phillips monitors
• Chart using the EPIC system
• Provide critical care nursing in a 12-bed ICU setting
• May float within Zone 1 facilities (including Penrose Hospital, St. Francis, St. Francis InterQuest, St. Mary-Corwin, and St. Thomas More) in cases of extreme need
• May float to PCU/Step-Down and Med-Surg Telemetry units, or accept low acuity holds in the ICU as needed

Unit Environment:

• Respiratory therapy available 24/7 with CPAP, BiPap, high flow, and ventilator support
• Common patient diagnoses: abdominal pain, chest pain, fever, cough, dyspnea, headache, injury, and extremity pain
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Colorado
• Critical care experience required
• Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• Valid driver's license
• Must be in state for orientation week
