ICU RN Job in Fort Collins, CO

Banner Fort Collins Medical Center is seeking an RN for its Intensive Care Unit. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week on a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday coverage per unit rotation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a mixed-acuity ICU environment, managing up to 6 medical/surgical level patients
• Care for patients across Cardiac, Medical/Surgical, PCU, and ICU acuity levels
• Read and monitor telemetry; assess vital signs and patient status continuously
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with medical orders and patient-specific requirements
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise health care team activities to execute patient care plans
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise plans as clinically indicated
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record with accuracy and timeliness
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership; support education, role development, and orientation of new staff

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in specialty area within the past 12 months
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred

Assignment Details

You will be primarily based at the Fort Collins campus (4700 Lady Moon Dr) with expected floating to PCU/ICU units at North Colorado Medical Center or Loveland campus as needed. This 89-week assignment begins October 12, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,464.
