Telemetry RN Job in Charleston, WV

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position at CAMC General Hospital in Charleston, WV. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 30, 2026.

Role Overview

You will care for adult patients on a 37-bed unit with diverse acuity levels, from uncomplicated to sub-critical. Patient ratios are 1:5. You will manage cardiac monitoring, post-operative transplant patients, and overflow cases from neurology and orthopedics. Float within scope as needed to support facility operations.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Verify telemetry with monitor technicians
• Perform central line draws and chest tube management
• Manage CPAP and BiPAP support
• Administer cardiac drips including Cardizem, Nitro, Amiodarone, and Heparin
• Care for patients with COPD, cardiac disease, chest pain, diabetes, and post-surgical conditions
• Access IV Team support as needed

Shift & Schedule

Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. You will work 4x12 days with every other weekend required. Contract options of 36 or 48 hours are available based on your preference. Overtime applies after 48 hours for 4x12 schedules.

Compensation & Benefits

Weekly pay is $2,300. Free parking is available in the attached parking garage.

Requirements

• Current RN license (WV or Compact; pending license accepted for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in-specialty
• BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association
• First-time travelers welcome

CAMC General Hospital uses Cerner for charting. Scrub color is royal blue and white. The unit supports a diverse adult patient population requiring varying levels of monitoring and intervention.
