Telemetry RN Job in Charleston, WV

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 4x12 schedule with 36 hours guaranteed per week. This is a 91-day assignment beginning November 30, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,300.

Schedule & Expectations

• 4x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• 36 or 48-hour contract options available; overtime begins after 48 hours for 4-shift schedules
• Weekdays, every other weekend, and float rotation
• May be called off once per 2-week pay period if necessary
• Holiday RTO requests limited to no more than 1 of 3 major holidays
• Open to blocked schedule requests

Clinical Role

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions including acute MI, unstable angina, CHF, unstable arrhythmias, and cardiac disorders, plus CVA surgical patients
• Observation unit with high patient turnaround (36 hours or less); approximately half inpatient and half observation
• Typical patient ratio 5:1; may increase to 6–7:1 during staff shortages, managing 5 primary patients and backing 1–2 LPN patients
• Required drip proficiency: heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, dopamine, and nitro
• Post Cardiac Cath, Post Angiogram, and PTCA experience required
• IV start and telemetry monitoring required
• Preferred experience: cardioversion, TEE, thoracentesis, bone marrow biopsy, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and paracentesis
• May be floated within scope to meet facility needs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications (must be through American Heart Association)
• Charting: Cerner
