ED RN Job in Livingston, Texas

Join the emergency department at CHI St Lukes Health-Memorial Livingston as a registered nurse. You will work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced 19-bed emergency department with 3 trauma bays, managing an average of 70 to 95 patients daily.

Shift Details

• Primary shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Alternative shift times available: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, or 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday rotation on an A & B schedule
• No on-call or standby requirements
• No floating to other units

Clinical Responsibilities

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1
• Care for patients presenting with cardiac, GI, psychiatric, COPD, and respiratory conditions
• Manage ER holds intermixed within the department
• Triage experience preferred but not required
• Coordinate or perform phlebotomy with nurse draw and dedicated phlebotomy team support
• Utilize Paragon EMR and Allscripts charting systems
• Access to portable X-ray and CT imaging within close proximity
• Telemetry monitoring with RNs reading strips
• Respiratory therapy support available for ABGs and breathing treatments

Team & Environment

• Work alongside 1 ED physician, 2 mid-level providers, a charge nurse, and patient care technicians
• Navy blue scrubs required

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Assignment Terms

• 91-day assignment
• Start date: July 27, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,021.76
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments under 13 weeks
